Your maintenance calories,
measured, not guessed.

Every other app hands you a formula's opinion of your metabolism. Repwise watches what you actually eat and what the scale actually does, then works your real maintenance out from your own body — and gets sharper every week you log.

Works with no account at all — or sign in and it follows you to every device.

Add it to your home screen and it works with no signal.

Why the number keeps moving

The scale lies to you every single morning.

Water, salt, glycogen and last night's dinner swing your weight by a kilo or more overnight. A simple average doesn't save you either — one big Saturday drags the number for a week.

Repwise takes the median of your trailing seven days. A single bad reading barely moves it, so the line you see is the line your body is actually on.

Everything in one app

Food, weight and the weight room.

Most people run a calorie app, a spreadsheet and a training app that never talk to each other. Repwise is all three, and they feed the same maths.

Scan the packet, keep the macros

Point the camera at a barcode and the product's calories and macros go straight into your diary. Over three million products, and anything you scan once is saved to your device so it works the next time even with no signal.

Maintenance that learns you

Day one uses a formula, because that's all anyone has. By week three Repwise is using your own intake against your own weight trend — and it tells you exactly how much it trusts the number.

Estimated maintenance 2,650 kcal

Every set, every session

Log weight and reps set by set, see what you did last time on the same lift, and get a PR flag when your estimated 1RM beats your best.

Macros that follow your body

Protein is set per kilo of body weight, fat as a share of calories, carbs fill the rest. Change your goal and every target moves with it.

Expected vs actual

Your intake predicts a rate of loss. The scale reports another. Repwise shows you both and closes the gap over time.

Your data, on your terms.

Repwise writes everything to your own device first and never waits on a network — so it works on the tube, in a basement gym, on a plane. Use it with no account at all and nothing ever leaves the device. Or sign in, and the same logs turn up on your phone, tablet and laptop, merged record by record so nothing gets overwritten. Either way you can export the lot as JSON whenever you like.

Three habits, ninety seconds a day

How it works

1

Weigh in most mornings

Same scale, after the loo, before food. Miss a day and nothing breaks — the median only needs most of your mornings, not all of them.

2

Log what you eat

Scan the barcode, search the built-in table, or save your own foods once and reuse them. Meals are grouped and timed so the day reads like a diary.

3

Let it recalculate

Every entry updates your rolling average weight, your trend, your maintenance and your confidence score. You just keep logging.

Training

The bar doesn't care how you feel.

Repwise keeps your sessions next to your food, because they're the same problem. Start from a routine, tick sets off as you do them, and see last week's numbers on the same lift while you decide what to load.

The maths, in full.

You should not have to trust a black box with your diet. Here is exactly how Repwise arrives at your maintenance calories.

1 · Smooth the weight

Daily weight is mostly water. Repwise takes a 7-day rolling average of your weigh-ins and never works from a single morning.

2 · Fit a trend

A weighted least-squares line runs through those rolling averages across the last 28 days, with recent days weighted more heavily. The slope is your real rate of change.

3 · Apply energy balance

Roughly 7,700 kcal is a kilogram of body mass. So:

maintenance = average daily intake − (kg change per day × 7,700)

Losing weight adds the deficit back on. Gaining takes the surplus off. One formula, both directions.

Average daily intake, last 28 days2,700 kcal
Weight trend from the rolling average−0.40 kg / week
0.40 × 7,700 ÷ 7440 kcal / day deficit
Estimated maintenance3,140 kcal / day

4 · Ease into changes

A new calculation never lands all at once. The displayed number moves a fraction of the way each day and is capped, so one strange week cannot swing your targets around.

5 · Say how much to trust it

Confidence is scored out of 100 from how many weigh-ins and food logs you actually have, how consistent your intake is, and how clean the trend looks. It never reads 100% — scales and food labels are never exact.

6 · Check itself

Your current intake predicts a weekly rate of change. The scale reports another. Repwise puts them side by side, and when they disagree it adjusts your maintenance rather than blaming you.

What makes it different

Plenty of apps count calories well. The difference is what happens to the number after you've counted them.

Questions

Do I need an account?
No. Open it and start logging — the entire app works with nothing signed in, and your data stays on the device. An account is there only if you want the same logs on more than one device; you can create one later and your existing data comes with you.
Can I use it on my phone and my laptop?
Yes. Make an account and your logs simply turn up on both — there is no button to press and nothing to remember. Repwise reconciles record by record rather than replacing whole days, so logging lunch on your phone while the laptop is offline does not wipe anything when the laptop reconnects. If two devices genuinely edit the same entry, the most recent edit wins.
Does the barcode scanner work on iPhone?
Yes. Browsers that ship the native barcode API use it; everywhere else, including iOS Safari, Repwise decodes EAN-13, UPC-A and EAN-8 from the camera frame itself. If a camera isn't available at all, you can type the digits under the barcode instead.
Why a median instead of an average?
Because one salty dinner shouldn't rewrite your week. An average is dragged by outliers; a median ignores them. If six of your seven mornings agree, the median agrees with them.
How long before my maintenance number is any good?
You'll see an early estimate after about a week, a usable one at two weeks and a genuinely personal one at three to four. Repwise shows a confidence score the whole way, so you always know how much weight to put on it.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
If you are signed in, nothing is lost — sign back in and everything comes down again. Without an account the local copy goes with it, so export a JSON backup from Settings whenever it matters; restoring one is a single tap.
Is this medical advice?
No. Repwise is a tracking tool that shows you estimates from your own numbers. It is not a substitute for advice from a doctor or dietitian, particularly if you have a medical condition or a history of disordered eating.

Start with tomorrow morning's weigh-in.

Three weeks from now you'll know what your body actually burns. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.
